Pelican Real Estate and Development - After one month in the magazine we were receiving more calls from our double-truck ad in the Guide than all of the other avenues of advertising we were doing combined. Upon opening the doors of our new real estate offi ce in Biloxi, we began using the Newcomers and Visitors Guide as a valued tool in familiarizing ourselves with the local happenings. Soon thereafter we took on exclusively a condo development listing and the responsibility for marketing this community. We began researching the diff erent advertising avenues in the area. Lisa and Starlin informed us of the Guide’s circulation and other benefi ts. We contracted for a 3 month period to try it out for our own advertising needs. To our surprise, the response we got was far better than we could have expected. After one month in the magazine, we were receiving more calls from our double-truck ad in the Guide than all of the other avenues of advertising we were doing combined! I would highly recommend this means of advertising to anyone in our business and in others.
